Question 1

What do front end 2023 KIA SELTOS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 518 recorded sales of the 2023 KIA SELTOS with front end damage, the median was $5,000, from $3,250 to $7,575. That is 9% below the $5,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,050 a good price for this 2023 KIA SELTOS?

Accepted Answer

1043 comparable 2023 KIA SELTOS listings sold at auction for a median of $5,500, spanning $3,450 to $8,600. At $3,050 this one went 45% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this KIA SELTOS sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2023 KIA SELTOS's pre-damage retail value at $17,562. It sold for $3,050 — 83% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

This KIA SELTOS has front end and rear end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2023 KIA SELTOS. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 42,023 miles high for a 2023 KIA SELTOS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 KIA SELTOS listings at auction averaged 87,190 miles across 1043 sales, so at 42,023 miles this one sits 52% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
