Question 1

What does a on-salvage-ontario mean for this KIA SELTOS?

Accepted Answer

This 2023 KIA SELTOS was sold on a on-salvage-ontario. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 2

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2023 KIA SELTOS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 3

This KIA SELTOS has front and left side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 4

Is 63,172 miles high for a 2023 KIA SELTOS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 KIA SELTOS listings at auction averaged 87,644 miles across 1028 sales, so at 63,172 miles this one sits 28% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Where was this KIA SELTOS located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at IAAI in ONTARIO - HAMILTON. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN KNDEPCAA7P7463569?

Accepted Answer

KNDEPCAA7P7463569 identifies this specific 2023 KIA SELTOS in black with a 2.0l i-4 dohc, vvt, 146hp engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
