Question 1

What do front end 2023 KIA SELTOS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 527 recorded sales of the 2023 KIA SELTOS with front end damage, the median was $5,000, from $3,250 to $7,500. That is 9% below the $5,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,275 a good price for this 2023 KIA SELTOS?

Accepted Answer

1057 comparable 2023 KIA SELTOS listings sold at auction for a median of $5,500, spanning $3,450 to $8,550. At $7,275 this one went 32% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage certificate-wv mean for this KIA SELTOS?

Accepted Answer

This 2023 KIA SELTOS was sold on a salvage certificate-wv. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

How far is this KIA SELTOS from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in WV - SHADY SPRING. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 300 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

This KIA SELTOS has front end and right front damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 13,045 miles high for a 2023 KIA SELTOS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 KIA SELTOS listings at auction averaged 86,757 miles across 1057 sales, so at 13,045 miles this one sits 85% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
