Question 1

What do hail 2023 KIA SELTOS models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 39 recorded sales of the 2023 KIA SELTOS with hail damage, the median was $7,875, from $4,800 to $12,600. That is 43% above the $5,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $9,500 a good price for this 2023 KIA SELTOS?

Accepted Answer

1057 comparable 2023 KIA SELTOS listings sold at auction for a median of $5,500, spanning $3,450 to $8,550. At $9,500 this one went 73% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this KIA SELTOS sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2023 KIA SELTOS's pre-damage retail value at $18,471. It sold for $9,500 — 49% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2023 KIA SELTOS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

What does a clean title mean for this KIA SELTOS?

Accepted Answer

This 2023 KIA SELTOS was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 6

Is 44,443 miles high for a 2023 KIA SELTOS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 KIA SELTOS listings at auction averaged 86,757 miles across 1057 sales, so at 44,443 miles this one sits 49% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
