Question 1

What does a on-salvage-ontario mean for this KIA SELTOS?

Accepted Answer

This 2022 KIA SELTOS was sold on a on-salvage-ontario. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 2

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2022 KIA SELTOS. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 3

Is 39,001 miles high for a 2022 KIA SELTOS?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 KIA SELTOS listings at auction averaged 56,577 miles across 838 sales, so at 39,001 miles this one sits 31% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Where was this KIA SELTOS located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at IAAI in ONTARIO - HAMILTON. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.

Question 5

Did this 2022 KIA SELTOS come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2022 KIA SELTOS from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2022 KIA SELTOS was listed at IAAI as lot 12354890 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
