Question 1

Was $4,500 a good price for this 2020 KIA SEDONA?

Accepted Answer

180 comparable 2020 KIA SEDONA listings sold at auction for a median of $3,900, spanning $3,150 to $5,500. At $4,500 this one went 15% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

This KIA SEDONA sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this KIA SEDONA sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2020 KIA SEDONA's pre-damage retail value at $20,581. It sold for $4,500 — 78% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

How far is this KIA SEDONA from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in CA - COLTON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 70,380 miles high for a 2020 KIA SEDONA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 KIA SEDONA listings at auction averaged 86,659 miles across 180 sales, so at 70,380 miles this one sits 19% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 KIA SEDONA. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
