Question 1

Was $5,300 a good price for this 2017 KIA SEDONA?

Accepted Answer

101 comparable 2017 KIA SEDONA listings sold at auction for a median of $3,550, spanning $3,050 to $4,850. At $5,300 this one went 49% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

What does a clean title mean for this KIA SEDONA?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 KIA SEDONA was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 3

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 KIA SEDONA. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 76,408 miles high for a 2017 KIA SEDONA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 KIA SEDONA listings at auction averaged 88,116 miles across 101 sales, so at 76,408 miles this one sits 13% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Where was this KIA SEDONA located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at COPART in HI - KAPOLEI. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.

Question 6

Who sold this 2017 KIA SEDONA?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was HAWAII USA FCU. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
