Question 1

What do minor dent/scratches 2017 KIA OPTIMA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 12 recorded sales of the 2017 KIA OPTIMA with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $3,500, from $3,100 to $4,350. That is 1% above the $3,450 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a clean title mean for this KIA OPTIMA?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 KIA OPTIMA was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 3

How far is this KIA OPTIMA from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in CA - COLTON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

Is 121,310 miles high for a 2017 KIA OPTIMA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 KIA OPTIMA listings at auction averaged 87,465 miles across 208 sales, so at 121,310 miles this one sits 39% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Did this 2017 KIA OPTIMA come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with minor dent/scratches damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN KNAGV4LD3H5009003?

Accepted Answer

KNAGV4LD3H5009003 identifies this specific 2017 KIA OPTIMA in grey with a 2.0l 4 engine, front wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
