Question 1

What do normal wear 2020 KIA OPTIMA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 13 recorded sales of the 2020 KIA OPTIMA with normal wear damage, the median was $4,050, from $3,200 to $7,500. That is 13% above the $3,600 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $6,000 a good price for this 2020 KIA OPTIMA?

Accepted Answer

693 comparable 2020 KIA OPTIMA listings sold at auction for a median of $3,600, spanning $3,050 to $4,950. At $6,000 this one went 67% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clean title mean for this KIA OPTIMA?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 KIA OPTIMA was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

This KIA OPTIMA has normal wear and minor dent/scratches damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 KIA OPTIMA. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 64,756 miles high for a 2020 KIA OPTIMA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 KIA OPTIMA listings at auction averaged 77,128 miles across 693 sales, so at 64,756 miles this one sits 16% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
