What do minor dent/scratches 2019 KIA OPTIMA models sell for?

Across 43 recorded sales of the 2019 KIA OPTIMA with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $4,025, from $3,150 to $7,400. That is 12% above the $3,600 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Was $3,800 a good price for this 2019 KIA OPTIMA?

830 comparable 2019 KIA OPTIMA listings sold at auction for a median of $3,600, spanning $3,050 to $4,850. At $3,800 this one went 6% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

How much below its undamaged value did this KIA OPTIMA sell for?

The insurer put this 2019 KIA OPTIMA's pre-damage retail value at $14,733. It sold for $3,800 — 74% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 KIA OPTIMA. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Is 66,650 miles high for a 2019 KIA OPTIMA?

Comparable 2019 KIA OPTIMA listings at auction averaged 80,372 miles across 830 sales, so at 66,650 miles this one sits 17% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

What does a scrap certificate of title mean for this KIA OPTIMA?

This 2019 KIA OPTIMA was sold on a scrap certificate of title. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.
