Question 1

What do theft 2019 KIA OPTIMA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 26 recorded sales of the 2019 KIA OPTIMA with theft damage, the median was $3,600, from $3,050 to $4,700. That is level with the $3,600 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,700 a good price for this 2019 KIA OPTIMA?

Accepted Answer

815 comparable 2019 KIA OPTIMA listings sold at auction for a median of $3,600, spanning $3,050 to $4,900. At $3,700 this one went 3% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a non-repairable mean for this KIA OPTIMA?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 KIA OPTIMA was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 KIA OPTIMA. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 66,966 miles high for a 2019 KIA OPTIMA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 KIA OPTIMA listings at auction averaged 80,578 miles across 815 sales, so at 66,966 miles this one sits 17% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

How far is this KIA OPTIMA from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in AZ - PHOENIX. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 380 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $325-$450, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.
