Question 1

What do normal wear & tear 2018 KIA OPTIMA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 15 recorded sales of the 2018 KIA OPTIMA with normal wear & tear damage, the median was $3,600, from $3,100 to $4,825. That is 3% above the $3,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 KIA OPTIMA. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 3

Is 233,956 miles high for a 2018 KIA OPTIMA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 KIA OPTIMA listings at auction averaged 83,193 miles across 490 sales, so at 233,956 miles this one sits 181% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Did this 2018 KIA OPTIMA come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with normal wear & tear damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 5

Can I buy this 2018 KIA OPTIMA from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2018 KIA OPTIMA was listed at IAAI as lot 46557875 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
