Question 1

What does a clear mean for this KIA OPTIMA?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 KIA OPTIMA was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 2

This KIA OPTIMA has normal wear & tear and right side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 3

Is 153,197 miles high for a 2017 KIA OPTIMA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 KIA OPTIMA listings at auction averaged 87,428 miles across 205 sales, so at 153,197 miles this one sits 75% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Did this 2017 KIA OPTIMA come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with normal wear & tear damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 5

What can I find out from VIN KNAGU4LC1H5005218?

Accepted Answer

KNAGU4LC1H5005218 identifies this specific 2017 KIA OPTIMA in black with a 2.0l i-4 di, dohc, vvt, regular , 154hp engine, front wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2017 KIA OPTIMA from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2017 KIA OPTIMA was listed at IAAI as lot 46236718 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
