Question 1

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 KIA OPTIMA. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 2

Is 147,668 miles high for a 2016 KIA OPTIMA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 KIA OPTIMA listings at auction averaged 91,258 miles across 259 sales, so at 147,668 miles this one sits 62% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 3

Who sold this 2016 KIA OPTIMA?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was PROGRESSIVE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 4

Did this 2016 KIA OPTIMA come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front & rear damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 5

What can I find out from VIN 5XXGU4L32GG072343?

Accepted Answer

5XXGU4L32GG072343 identifies this specific 2016 KIA OPTIMA in brown with a 2.4l i-4 di, dohc, vvt, 185hp engine, front wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2016 KIA OPTIMA from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2016 KIA OPTIMA was listed at IAAI as lot 46547473 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
