Question 1

What do mechanical 2023 KIA NIRO models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 34 recorded sales of the 2023 KIA NIRO with mechanical damage, the median was $9,300, from $7,300 to $11,600. That is 24% above the $7,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $9,500 a good price for this 2023 KIA NIRO?

Accepted Answer

1192 comparable 2023 KIA NIRO listings sold at auction for a median of $7,500, spanning $4,200 to $10,700. At $9,500 this one went 27% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a non-repairable mean for this KIA NIRO?

Accepted Answer

This 2023 KIA NIRO was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 4

How far is this KIA NIRO from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in WI - FRANKLIN. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 850 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $550-$800, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 32,589 miles high for a 2023 KIA NIRO?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 KIA NIRO listings at auction averaged 56,675 miles across 1192 sales, so at 32,589 miles this one sits 42% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Did this 2023 KIA NIRO come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with mechanical damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
