Question 1

What do rear 2022 KIA NIRO models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 22 recorded sales of the 2022 KIA NIRO with rear damage, the median was $6,000, from $4,150 to $9,400. That is 3% below the $6,175 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,325 a good price for this 2022 KIA NIRO?

Accepted Answer

591 comparable 2022 KIA NIRO listings sold at auction for a median of $6,175, spanning $3,800 to $8,700. At $7,325 this one went 19% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this KIA NIRO?

Accepted Answer

This 2022 KIA NIRO was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

How far is this KIA NIRO from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in GA - LAKE CITY. The nearest major vehicle export port is Savannah, roughly 250 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $300-$450, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 46,000 miles high for a 2022 KIA NIRO?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 KIA NIRO listings at auction averaged 63,539 miles across 591 sales, so at 46,000 miles this one sits 28% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

This KIA NIRO has rear and left side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
