Question 1

What do left side 2024 KIA NIRO models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 22 recorded sales of the 2024 KIA NIRO with left side damage, the median was $8,100, from $5,200 to $9,875. That is 2% below the $8,250 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $5,300 a good price for this 2024 KIA NIRO?

Accepted Answer

1068 comparable 2024 KIA NIRO listings sold at auction for a median of $8,250, spanning $4,500 to $11,800. At $5,300 this one went 36% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This KIA NIRO sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

How far is this KIA NIRO from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in CA - LOS ANGELES. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 51,123 miles high for a 2024 KIA NIRO?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2024 KIA NIRO listings at auction averaged 34,941 miles across 1068 sales, so at 51,123 miles this one sits 46% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Who sold this 2024 KIA NIRO?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was STATE FARM INSURANCE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
