Question 1

What do front end 2018 KIA NIRO models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 108 recorded sales of the 2018 KIA NIRO with front end damage, the median was $3,900, from $3,100 to $5,200. That is 4% below the $4,050 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a cert of salvage > 75% damage mean for this KIA NIRO?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 KIA NIRO was sold on a cert of salvage > 75% damage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 3

How far is this KIA NIRO from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in MD - FINKSBURG. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 40 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

This KIA NIRO has front end and undercarriage damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 KIA NIRO. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 89,884 miles high for a 2018 KIA NIRO?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 KIA NIRO listings at auction averaged 95,658 miles across 301 sales, so at 89,884 miles this one sits 6% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
