Question 1

What do left front 2018 KIA NIRO models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 10 recorded sales of the 2018 KIA NIRO with left front damage, the median was $3,475, from $3,050 to $4,350. That is 14% below the $4,050 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

This KIA NIRO sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 KIA NIRO. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 180,420 miles high for a 2018 KIA NIRO?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 KIA NIRO listings at auction averaged 95,034 miles across 310 sales, so at 180,420 miles this one sits 90% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Who sold this 2018 KIA NIRO?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was MID-ATLANTIC FINANCE COMPANY. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN KNDCC3LC1J5145645?

Accepted Answer
