Question 1

What do front end 2020 KIA NIRO models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 209 recorded sales of the 2020 KIA NIRO with front end damage, the median was $5,150, from $3,400 to $7,700. That is 5% below the $5,400 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,100 a good price for this 2020 KIA NIRO?

Accepted Answer

427 comparable 2020 KIA NIRO listings sold at auction for a median of $5,400, spanning $3,550 to $8,000. At $7,100 this one went 31% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this KIA NIRO?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 KIA NIRO was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

How far is this KIA NIRO from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in VT - ESSEX JUNCTION. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 300 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 58,320 miles high for a 2020 KIA NIRO?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 KIA NIRO listings at auction averaged 75,790 miles across 427 sales, so at 58,320 miles this one sits 23% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Who sold this 2020 KIA NIRO?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was PROGRESSIVE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
