Question 1

What do front end 2020 KIA NIRO models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 205 recorded sales of the 2020 KIA NIRO with front end damage, the median was $5,150, from $3,400 to $7,400. That is 4% below the $5,375 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $9,700 a good price for this 2020 KIA NIRO?

Accepted Answer

421 comparable 2020 KIA NIRO listings sold at auction for a median of $5,375, spanning $3,550 to $7,900. At $9,700 this one went 80% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this KIA NIRO?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 KIA NIRO was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

How far is this KIA NIRO from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in NY - STATEN ISLAND. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 160 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 25,475 miles high for a 2020 KIA NIRO?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 KIA NIRO listings at auction averaged 75,937 miles across 421 sales, so at 25,475 miles this one sits 66% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Did this 2020 KIA NIRO come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front end damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
