Question 1

What do front end 2022 KIA NIRO models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 308 recorded sales of the 2022 KIA NIRO with front end damage, the median was $5,900, from $3,600 to $8,400. That is 5% below the $6,200 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $5,275 a good price for this 2022 KIA NIRO?

Accepted Answer

633 comparable 2022 KIA NIRO listings sold at auction for a median of $6,200, spanning $3,800 to $8,800. At $5,275 this one went 15% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a non-repairable mean for this KIA NIRO?

Accepted Answer

This 2022 KIA NIRO was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 4

Is 40,600 miles high for a 2022 KIA NIRO?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 KIA NIRO listings at auction averaged 64,551 miles across 633 sales, so at 40,600 miles this one sits 37% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

How far is this KIA NIRO from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in FL - JUPITER. The nearest major vehicle export port is Jacksonville, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Who sold this 2022 KIA NIRO?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was PROGRESSIVE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
