Question 1

What do normal wear & tear 2023 KIA FORTE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 18 recorded sales of the 2023 KIA FORTE with normal wear & tear damage, the median was $11,500, from $4,050 to $15,750. That is 137% above the $4,850 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

This KIA FORTE sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

How far is this KIA FORTE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in TX - HOUSTON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

Is 123 miles high for a 2023 KIA FORTE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 KIA FORTE listings at auction averaged 43,713 miles across 5321 sales, so at 123 miles this one sits 100% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Who sold this 2023 KIA FORTE?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was TITLEMAX. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2023 KIA FORTE from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2023 KIA FORTE was listed at IAAI as lot 43418389 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
