Question 1

What do rear 2023 KIA FORTE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 345 recorded sales of the 2023 KIA FORTE with rear damage, the median was $5,150, from $3,500 to $7,800. That is 6% above the $4,850 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,700 a good price for this 2023 KIA FORTE?

Accepted Answer

5306 comparable 2023 KIA FORTE listings sold at auction for a median of $4,850, spanning $3,400 to $7,600. At $3,700 this one went 24% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this KIA FORTE?

Accepted Answer

This 2023 KIA FORTE was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

Is 34,755 miles high for a 2023 KIA FORTE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 KIA FORTE listings at auction averaged 43,670 miles across 5306 sales, so at 34,755 miles this one sits 20% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2023 KIA FORTE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

This KIA FORTE has rear and unknown damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
