Question 1

What do flood 2020 KIA FORTE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 13 recorded sales of the 2020 KIA FORTE with flood damage, the median was $3,350, from $3,000 to $3,700. That is 7% below the $3,600 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,000 a good price for this 2020 KIA FORTE?

Accepted Answer

1728 comparable 2020 KIA FORTE listings sold at auction for a median of $3,600, spanning $3,050 to $4,850. At $3,000 this one went 17% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a non-repairable mean for this KIA FORTE?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 KIA FORTE was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 KIA FORTE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

How far is this KIA FORTE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in WI - SUSSEX. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 850 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $550-$800, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 54,169 miles high for a 2020 KIA FORTE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 KIA FORTE listings at auction averaged 71,855 miles across 1728 sales, so at 54,169 miles this one sits 25% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
