Question 1

What do right side 2020 KIA FORTE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 57 recorded sales of the 2020 KIA FORTE with right side damage, the median was $3,650, from $3,050 to $4,450. That is 1% above the $3,600 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,000 a good price for this 2020 KIA FORTE?

Accepted Answer

1788 comparable 2020 KIA FORTE listings sold at auction for a median of $3,600, spanning $3,050 to $4,800. At $3,000 this one went 17% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How far is this KIA FORTE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in SD - LENNOX. The nearest major vehicle export port is Tacoma, roughly 1,300 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $725-$1,050, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

Is 54,943 miles high for a 2020 KIA FORTE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 KIA FORTE listings at auction averaged 72,203 miles across 1788 sales, so at 54,943 miles this one sits 24% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 KIA FORTE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Who sold this 2020 KIA FORTE?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was PROGRESSIVE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
