Question 1

What do hail 2018 KIA FORTE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 11 recorded sales of the 2018 KIA FORTE with hail damage, the median was $3,425, from $3,150 to $3,925. That is 1% above the $3,400 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a sk-mechanical inspection required-saskatchewan mean for this KIA FORTE?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 KIA FORTE was sold on a sk-mechanical inspection required-saskatchewan. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 3

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 KIA FORTE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 142,676 miles high for a 2018 KIA FORTE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 KIA FORTE listings at auction averaged 70,224 miles across 96 sales, so at 142,676 miles this one sits 103% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Did this 2018 KIA FORTE come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with hail damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN 3KPFL4A71JE228635?
