Question 1

What do front end 2017 KIA FORTE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 15 recorded sales of the 2017 KIA FORTE with front end damage, the median was $3,213, from $3,050 to $3,650. That is 3% below the $3,300 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 KIA FORTE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 3

Is 268,016 miles high for a 2017 KIA FORTE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 KIA FORTE listings at auction averaged 78,805 miles across 84 sales, so at 268,016 miles this one sits 240% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Where was this KIA FORTE located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at COPART in QC - MONTREAL-EST. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.

Question 5

Did this 2017 KIA FORTE come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front end damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2017 KIA FORTE from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2017 KIA FORTE was listed at COPART as lot 73485835 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
