Question 1

What do side 2019 KIA FORTE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 110 recorded sales of the 2019 KIA FORTE with side damage, the median was $3,450, from $3,050 to $4,150. That is level with the $3,450 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,350 a good price for this 2019 KIA FORTE?

Accepted Answer

1385 comparable 2019 KIA FORTE listings sold at auction for a median of $3,450, spanning $3,050 to $4,400. At $3,350 this one went 3% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this KIA FORTE sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2019 KIA FORTE's pre-damage retail value at $10,523. It sold for $3,350 — 68% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 KIA FORTE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

This KIA FORTE has side and rear end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 97,934 miles high for a 2019 KIA FORTE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 KIA FORTE listings at auction averaged 78,287 miles across 1385 sales, so at 97,934 miles this one sits 25% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
