Question 1

What do rear end 2019 KIA FORTE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 290 recorded sales of the 2019 KIA FORTE with rear end damage, the median was $3,450, from $3,050 to $4,450. That is level with the $3,450 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,150 a good price for this 2019 KIA FORTE?

Accepted Answer

1365 comparable 2019 KIA FORTE listings sold at auction for a median of $3,450, spanning $3,050 to $4,400. At $3,150 this one went 9% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this KIA FORTE sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2019 KIA FORTE's pre-damage retail value at $10,367. It sold for $3,150 — 70% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

How far is this KIA FORTE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in GA - CARTERSVILLE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Savannah, roughly 250 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $300-$450, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 KIA FORTE. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 89,775 miles high for a 2019 KIA FORTE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 KIA FORTE listings at auction averaged 78,284 miles across 1365 sales, so at 89,775 miles this one sits 15% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
