Question 1

What do minor dent/scratches 2019 KIA FORTE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 27 recorded sales of the 2019 KIA FORTE with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $3,975, from $3,050 to $5,500. That is 15% above the $3,450 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $5,500 a good price for this 2019 KIA FORTE?

Accepted Answer

1385 comparable 2019 KIA FORTE listings sold at auction for a median of $3,450, spanning $3,050 to $4,400. At $5,500 this one went 59% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clean title mean for this KIA FORTE?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 KIA FORTE was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

How far is this KIA FORTE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in MI - WOODHAVEN. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 550 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $475-$650, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 KIA FORTE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 83,681 miles high for a 2019 KIA FORTE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 KIA FORTE listings at auction averaged 78,287 miles across 1385 sales, so at 83,681 miles this one sits 7% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
