Question 1

This KIA FORTE sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 2

What does a nb-not branded-new brunswick mean for this KIA FORTE?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 KIA FORTE was sold on a nb-not branded-new brunswick. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 3

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 KIA FORTE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 8,227 miles high for a 2017 KIA FORTE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 KIA FORTE listings at auction averaged 79,264 miles across 85 sales, so at 8,227 miles this one sits 90% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What can I find out from VIN 3KPFK4A75HE071124?

Accepted Answer

3KPFK4A75HE071124 identifies this specific 2017 KIA FORTE in white with a 2l i4 fi dohc 16v nf4 engine, front wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2017 KIA FORTE from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2017 KIA FORTE was listed at IAAI as lot 12726152 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
