Question 1

What do front & rear 2020 HYUNDAI TUCSON models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 26 recorded sales of the 2020 HYUNDAI TUCSON with front & rear damage, the median was $4,250, from $3,150 to $5,500. That is 7% below the $4,550 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $5,625 a good price for this 2020 HYUNDAI TUCSON?

Accepted Answer

2119 comparable 2020 HYUNDAI TUCSON listings sold at auction for a median of $4,550, spanning $3,300 to $6,900. At $5,625 this one went 24% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This HYUNDAI TUCSON sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 HYUNDAI TUCSON. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 84,871 miles high for a 2020 HYUNDAI TUCSON?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 HYUNDAI TUCSON listings at auction averaged 73,742 miles across 2119 sales, so at 84,871 miles this one sits 15% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

How far is this HYUNDAI TUCSON from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in MD - BRANDYWINE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 40 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.
