Question 1

What do theft 2020 HYUNDAI TUCSON models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 39 recorded sales of the 2020 HYUNDAI TUCSON with theft damage, the median was $5,500, from $3,675 to $7,050. That is 20% above the $4,600 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $5,750 a good price for this 2020 HYUNDAI TUCSON?

Accepted Answer

2076 comparable 2020 HYUNDAI TUCSON listings sold at auction for a median of $4,600, spanning $3,300 to $6,900. At $5,750 this one went 25% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This HYUNDAI TUCSON sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does a clear mean for this HYUNDAI TUCSON?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 HYUNDAI TUCSON was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 5

Is 75,011 miles high for a 2020 HYUNDAI TUCSON?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 HYUNDAI TUCSON listings at auction averaged 73,431 miles across 2076 sales, so at 75,011 miles this one sits 2% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 HYUNDAI TUCSON. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
