Question 1

What do rear 2019 HYUNDAI TUCSON models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 148 recorded sales of the 2019 HYUNDAI TUCSON with rear damage, the median was $4,475, from $3,300 to $6,000. That is 7% above the $4,200 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 HYUNDAI TUCSON. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 3

Is 87,878 miles high for a 2019 HYUNDAI TUCSON?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 HYUNDAI TUCSON listings at auction averaged 87,213 miles across 2925 sales, so at 87,878 miles this one sits 1% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Who sold this 2019 HYUNDAI TUCSON?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was ERIE INSURANCE GROUP. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 5

Did this 2019 HYUNDAI TUCSON come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with rear damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
