Question 1

What do rear 2025 HYUNDAI SONATA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 135 recorded sales of the 2025 HYUNDAI SONATA with rear damage, the median was $9,975, from $7,025 to $15,750. That is 6% above the $9,400 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,900 a good price for this 2025 HYUNDAI SONATA?

Accepted Answer

2204 comparable 2025 HYUNDAI SONATA listings sold at auction for a median of $9,400, spanning $5,600 to $14,250. At $8,900 this one went 5% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clear mean for this HYUNDAI SONATA?

Accepted Answer

This 2025 HYUNDAI SONATA was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

How far is this HYUNDAI SONATA from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in TX - ODESSA. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2025 HYUNDAI SONATA. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 7,783 miles high for a 2025 HYUNDAI SONATA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2025 HYUNDAI SONATA listings at auction averaged 17,599 miles across 2204 sales, so at 7,783 miles this one sits 56% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
