Question 1

What does a qc-v.g.a-quebec mean for this HYUNDAI SONATA?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 HYUNDAI SONATA was sold on a qc-v.g.a-quebec. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 2

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 HYUNDAI SONATA. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 3

Is 77,256 miles high for a 2018 HYUNDAI SONATA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 HYUNDAI SONATA listings at auction averaged 79,242 miles across 1197 sales, so at 77,256 miles this one sits 3% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Did this 2018 HYUNDAI SONATA come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 5

Where was this HYUNDAI SONATA located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at IAAI in QUEBEC - ST-EUSTACHE. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN 5NPE24AF0JH686281?

Accepted Answer

5NPE24AF0JH686281 identifies this specific 2018 HYUNDAI SONATA in grey with a 2.4l i-4 di, dohc, vvt, 185hp engine, front wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
