Question 1

What do front end 2018 HYUNDAI SONATA models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 394 recorded sales of the 2018 HYUNDAI SONATA with front end damage, the median was $3,400, from $3,050 to $4,250. That is 4% below the $3,550 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

This HYUNDAI SONATA sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

Is 57,003 miles high for a 2018 HYUNDAI SONATA?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 HYUNDAI SONATA listings at auction averaged 79,236 miles across 1191 sales, so at 57,003 miles this one sits 28% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Who sold this 2018 HYUNDAI SONATA?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was ERIE INSURANCE GROUP. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 5

Can I buy this 2018 HYUNDAI SONATA from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2018 HYUNDAI SONATA was listed at IAAI as lot 46473842 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN 5NPE24AAXJH710719?

Accepted Answer

5NPE24AAXJH710719 identifies this specific 2018 HYUNDAI SONATA with a 1.6l i-4 di, dohc, vvt, turbo, 178hp engine, front wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only.
