Question 1

What do front end 2018 HYUNDAI SANTA FE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 758 recorded sales of the 2018 HYUNDAI SANTA FE with front end damage, the median was $3,700, from $3,075 to $5,000. That is 3% below the $3,825 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a clean title mean for this HYUNDAI SANTA FE?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 HYUNDAI SANTA FE was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 3

How far is this HYUNDAI SANTA FE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in LA - NEW ORLEANS. The nearest major vehicle export port is New Orleans, roughly 130 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 HYUNDAI SANTA FE. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

This HYUNDAI SANTA FE has front end and mechanical damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 118,611 miles high for a 2018 HYUNDAI SANTA FE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 HYUNDAI SANTA FE listings at auction averaged 97,295 miles across 1953 sales, so at 118,611 miles this one sits 22% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
