Question 1

This HYUNDAI SANTA FE sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 2

What does a on-not branded-ontario mean for this HYUNDAI SANTA FE?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 HYUNDAI SANTA FE was sold on a on-not branded-ontario. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 3

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 HYUNDAI SANTA FE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Where was this HYUNDAI SANTA FE located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at IAAI in ONTARIO - LONDON. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.

Question 5

What can I find out from VIN 5XYZUDLA9HG390884?

Accepted Answer

5XYZUDLA9HG390884 identifies this specific 2017 HYUNDAI SANTA FE in grey with a 2.0l i4 fi dohc 16v nf4 engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2017 HYUNDAI SANTA FE from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2017 HYUNDAI SANTA FE was listed at IAAI as lot 12668550 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
