Question 1

What do front end 2016 HYUNDAI SANTA FE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 147 recorded sales of the 2016 HYUNDAI SANTA FE with front end damage, the median was $3,300, from $3,000 to $4,400. That is 6% below the $3,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

This HYUNDAI SANTA FE sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

What does a salvage title mean for this HYUNDAI SANTA FE?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 HYUNDAI SANTA FE was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 HYUNDAI SANTA FE. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

How far is this HYUNDAI SANTA FE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in FL - OCALA. The nearest major vehicle export port is Jacksonville, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 37,856 miles high for a 2016 HYUNDAI SANTA FE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 HYUNDAI SANTA FE listings at auction averaged 113,188 miles across 477 sales, so at 37,856 miles this one sits 67% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
