Question 1

What do normal wear & tear 2026 HYUNDAI SANTA FE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 16 recorded sales of the 2026 HYUNDAI SANTA FE with normal wear & tear damage, the median was $18,950, from $5,325 to $23,700. That is 52% above the $12,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $22,500 a good price for this 2026 HYUNDAI SANTA FE?

Accepted Answer

577 comparable 2026 HYUNDAI SANTA FE listings sold at auction for a median of $12,500, spanning $7,050 to $20,700. At $22,500 this one went 80% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This HYUNDAI SANTA FE sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2026 HYUNDAI SANTA FE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 4,081 miles high for a 2026 HYUNDAI SANTA FE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2026 HYUNDAI SANTA FE listings at auction averaged 7,669 miles across 577 sales, so at 4,081 miles this one sits 47% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does a clear mean for this HYUNDAI SANTA FE?

Accepted Answer

This 2026 HYUNDAI SANTA FE was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.
