Question 1

What do left side 2023 HYUNDAI SANTA FE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 90 recorded sales of the 2023 HYUNDAI SANTA FE with left side damage, the median was $8,675, from $5,350 to $12,600. That is 7% above the $8,100 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

This HYUNDAI SANTA FE sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this HYUNDAI SANTA FE?

Accepted Answer

This 2023 HYUNDAI SANTA FE was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

How far is this HYUNDAI SANTA FE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in PA - BRIDGEPORT. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 150 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 35,138 miles high for a 2023 HYUNDAI SANTA FE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 HYUNDAI SANTA FE listings at auction averaged 41,971 miles across 3536 sales, so at 35,138 miles this one sits 16% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2023 HYUNDAI SANTA FE. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
