Question 1

What do normal wear & tear 2023 HYUNDAI SANTA FE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 16 recorded sales of the 2023 HYUNDAI SANTA FE with normal wear & tear damage, the median was $15,350, from $8,100 to $22,250. That is 90% above the $8,100 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $22,750 a good price for this 2023 HYUNDAI SANTA FE?

Accepted Answer

3652 comparable 2023 HYUNDAI SANTA FE listings sold at auction for a median of $8,100, spanning $4,450 to $13,600. At $22,750 this one went 181% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This HYUNDAI SANTA FE sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does a clear mean for this HYUNDAI SANTA FE?

Accepted Answer

This 2023 HYUNDAI SANTA FE was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 5

Is 26,858 miles high for a 2023 HYUNDAI SANTA FE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 HYUNDAI SANTA FE listings at auction averaged 42,476 miles across 3652 sales, so at 26,858 miles this one sits 37% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

How far is this HYUNDAI SANTA FE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in FL - LAKELAND. The nearest major vehicle export port is Jacksonville, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.
