Question 1

What do front end 2023 HYUNDAI SANTA FE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 1649 recorded sales of the 2023 HYUNDAI SANTA FE with front end damage, the median was $7,700, from $4,300 to $12,400. That is 5% below the $8,100 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,100 a good price for this 2023 HYUNDAI SANTA FE?

Accepted Answer

3462 comparable 2023 HYUNDAI SANTA FE listings sold at auction for a median of $8,100, spanning $4,450 to $13,700. At $7,100 this one went 12% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This HYUNDAI SANTA FE sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

How far is this HYUNDAI SANTA FE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in GA - RINCON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Savannah, roughly 250 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $300-$450, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does a salvage mean for this HYUNDAI SANTA FE?

Accepted Answer

This 2023 HYUNDAI SANTA FE was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 6

Is 38,790 miles high for a 2023 HYUNDAI SANTA FE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 HYUNDAI SANTA FE listings at auction averaged 41,664 miles across 3462 sales, so at 38,790 miles this one sits 7% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
