What do minor dent/scratches 2020 HYUNDAI SANTA FE models sell for?

Across 65 recorded sales of the 2020 HYUNDAI SANTA FE with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $7,150, from $4,700 to $11,200. That is 32% above the $5,400 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Was $11,800 a good price for this 2020 HYUNDAI SANTA FE?

3312 comparable 2020 HYUNDAI SANTA FE listings sold at auction for a median of $5,400, spanning $3,600 to $8,000. At $11,800 this one went 119% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

How much below its undamaged value did this HYUNDAI SANTA FE sell for?

The insurer put this 2020 HYUNDAI SANTA FE's pre-damage retail value at $15,640. It sold for $11,800 — 25% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

How far is this HYUNDAI SANTA FE from an export port?

The lot sat at COPART in CA - SAN MARTIN. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 HYUNDAI SANTA FE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

What does a clean title mean for this HYUNDAI SANTA FE?

This 2020 HYUNDAI SANTA FE was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.
