What do front end 2017 HYUNDAI SANTA FE models sell for?

Across 1032 recorded sales of the 2017 HYUNDAI SANTA FE with front end damage, the median was $3,650, from $3,050 to $4,950. That is 3% below the $3,750 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Was $4,900 a good price for this 2017 HYUNDAI SANTA FE?

2743 comparable 2017 HYUNDAI SANTA FE listings sold at auction for a median of $3,750, spanning $3,100 to $5,300. At $4,900 this one went 31% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

How much below its undamaged value did this HYUNDAI SANTA FE sell for?

The insurer put this 2017 HYUNDAI SANTA FE's pre-damage retail value at $12,732. It sold for $4,900 — 62% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

What does a salvage title mean for this HYUNDAI SANTA FE?

This 2017 HYUNDAI SANTA FE was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 HYUNDAI SANTA FE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Is 239,921 miles high for a 2017 HYUNDAI SANTA FE?

Comparable 2017 HYUNDAI SANTA FE listings at auction averaged 105,573 miles across 2743 sales, so at 239,921 miles this one sits 127% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
