Question 1

What do front end 2016 HYUNDAI SANTA FE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 145 recorded sales of the 2016 HYUNDAI SANTA FE with front end damage, the median was $3,325, from $3,000 to $4,400. That is 5% below the $3,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

This HYUNDAI SANTA FE sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

How far is this HYUNDAI SANTA FE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in TX - SAN ANTONIO. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

Is 144,400 miles high for a 2016 HYUNDAI SANTA FE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 HYUNDAI SANTA FE listings at auction averaged 113,080 miles across 465 sales, so at 144,400 miles this one sits 28% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What can I find out from VIN KM8SM4HF9GU153875?

Accepted Answer

KM8SM4HF9GU153875 identifies this specific 2016 HYUNDAI SANTA FE in grey with a 3.3l v-6 di, dohc, vvt, 290hp engine, front wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2016 HYUNDAI SANTA FE from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2016 HYUNDAI SANTA FE was listed at IAAI as lot 41709193 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
