Question 1

What do hail 2020 HYUNDAI PALISADE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 66 recorded sales of the 2020 HYUNDAI PALISADE with hail damage, the median was $9,100, from $4,600 to $14,700. That is 32% above the $6,900 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $12,600 a good price for this 2020 HYUNDAI PALISADE?

Accepted Answer

1563 comparable 2020 HYUNDAI PALISADE listings sold at auction for a median of $6,900, spanning $4,150 to $10,500. At $12,600 this one went 83% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clear mean for this HYUNDAI PALISADE?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 HYUNDAI PALISADE was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

How far is this HYUNDAI PALISADE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in TX - BELL COUNTY. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 HYUNDAI PALISADE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 68,873 miles high for a 2020 HYUNDAI PALISADE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 HYUNDAI PALISADE listings at auction averaged 90,209 miles across 1563 sales, so at 68,873 miles this one sits 24% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
