Question 1

What do front end 2020 HYUNDAI PALISADE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 704 recorded sales of the 2020 HYUNDAI PALISADE with front end damage, the median was $6,200, from $4,000 to $9,000. That is 10% below the $6,900 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $5,500 a good price for this 2020 HYUNDAI PALISADE?

Accepted Answer

1563 comparable 2020 HYUNDAI PALISADE listings sold at auction for a median of $6,900, spanning $4,150 to $10,500. At $5,500 this one went 20% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage title mean for this HYUNDAI PALISADE?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 HYUNDAI PALISADE was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

How far is this HYUNDAI PALISADE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in MA - MENDON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 220 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $275-$400, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 HYUNDAI PALISADE. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 80,577 miles high for a 2020 HYUNDAI PALISADE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 HYUNDAI PALISADE listings at auction averaged 90,209 miles across 1563 sales, so at 80,577 miles this one sits 11% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
